I really like MyTracks for Android. I have tried various other GPS phone apps and this is the best free one I have used. It doesn't seem to waste battery and the voice announcement for mileage/time is nice. If you are looking for a free GPS app check this one out! myTracks is a unique feature which replays the selected units route, stops, and movements during a specified time frame

To activate myTracks , click on the play button appearing at the top left of the map.

myTracks Main Features

  • Multiple Units Tracking – the user may select up to 3 units in the same session for track and display.
  • Each unit track is presented with a different color on the map.
  • Point of the report – When the cursor lies over a unit, report information appears (report time, address & speed).
  • Irregular events – exact point of occurrence of triggered events will be shown.
  • Replay – Play button which recreates the movement and stops of all selected units. To view a replay of a specific track, remove other tracks.

Date and Time (From/ To). Please note the user can select one day with a set time period. The user can either enter the dates manually or click on the calendar icon to open the calendar window. Select the date, hour and minutes and click Done.

Unit details for a select point (unit status changes). To select a point either click on the point info in the Full Route display or on the map. The default point will be the select ‘From’ time. Details include the following:

Displays the full route of the unit during the selected time frame. Download outlook for mac trial. The full route displays each time the unit changed status indicating all the stops the unit conducted including the address and exact time and date. Clicking on one of the stops will display the full details of the stop as indicated in item 2.

Indication of the unit on the map. The green unit indicates status On. The yellow unit indicates status Off

The point on the map. Each point indicates a status change, most common stops along the route. Hover over the point to review more information on the stop as described in item 7. Clicking on the point will open further details in the left navigation (as indicated in item 2)

Point details. A window will open when hovering over a select point on the map. Details include the following:

  • Unit Name
  • Date and time
  • Speed
  • Status (On/Off)
MyTracks

myTracks allows replaying the movement of the unit during the selected time frame. Users can choose the speed of the replay either according to report speed, 100 times faster or 500 times faster. Users can change the speed at all times during the replay

Multi-unit myTracks

When selecting a group or a fleet, the user can replay the tracks of up to 3 units at the same time. Upon opening myTracks, the user can select the units they require from a dropdown listing all units in the group or fleet selected.

Selecting a unit will add it to the left navigation. Then select another unit to add additional units to the navigation. Up to 3 units can be selected.

Choose the desired time frame and click play. The route of all 3 units will be displayed on the map.
